when I arrived on Thursday there was a "come and pick up a parcel" notice in my mailbox from Canada Post. what could this be I asked myself, oversize mailart? Rolands travelling Fluxus camera? none of the above I would soon learn. it was a box from the amateur beachcomber RF Cote containing 2 flip flops from the Gaspe coast! these little bits of petroleum based foam footwear are to be found on all the worlds beaches! (probably not a good thing) thank you Reg, you're a gentleman and a scholar. I'll try and make something interesting with them.

Cool! Glad you like them! This was a running gag on the beach with my wife because she was convinced that I would find nothing but broken lobster traps. The delay to ship them was because two days after I was on the Gaspe coast, I went to New York City with my son and I even made a detour towards Cooney Island beach. Nothing found there since the beach is cleaned up every morning and was spotless. Cheers!
